Cerulean Conflict is an annual Blue Mage PvP event cohosted by two of the biggest community groups in Final Fantasy XIV: Blue Academy and PvP Revival.All events feature:

⇨ a live stream on TwitchAll events start at an evening prime time hour (North American Eastern Time Zone), and all event gatherings are held at Zalera's Wolves' Den Pier. About blue academy

Blue Academy is the premier Blue Mage hub for Final Fantasy XIV. It serves as a resource for all things Blue Mage, with guides and infographics spanning all levels of experience. New BLUs will find whatever they need to get started, while seasoned BLUs will find a community with which to run higher-end content!

About PvP Revival

PvP Revival is the largest PvP community for Final Fantasy XIV, spanning North America and Europe. Our core focus is to guide new players through all PvP game modes, while also facilitating events for Rival Wings, Frontline, and Crystalline Conflict. All levels of PvPers, from rookies to veterans, are welcome!

How The Event Works

OBJECTIVE — To kill as many players as possible!Players will join the event’s custom Party Finder as Blue Mages and DPS jobs. Spots in the event’s party finder are on a first-come, first-served basis. (But hopefully we’ll have enough attendees for two instances!)Each 8-man party must have one (1) Red Mage on their team, and a minimum of four (4) Blue Mages. All other roles can be filled by Blue Mages or non-RDM DPS roles.Event hosts will give out 10 bottles of high-quality Super-Ethers to each ranged mage participant, so they have enough MP throughout the instance.

Event Rules

01 | Do not purposefully fail raid-wide mechanics.
⇨ If the entire raid dies, the death counter goes up for everyone, and the event drags on in a very un-fun way.02 | Do not spawn/raise-camp.
⇨ If you get called out for maliciously killing the same person, please focus on someone else.03 | Do not remove gear or join with broken gear.04 | If you get a raise, you must accept it.Breaking any of these rules will result in forfeiture of any prizes you would be eligible for otherwise.

Raffle Prizes

  • The two people in each alliance who die the least will get entered for a chance to win a part of a 10-million gil prize pool!

  • You must be a member of both PvP Revival and Blue Academy to win.

Event History

NOVEMBER 17, 2023 — Held in The Puppets' Bunker, this event was hosted on the PvP Revival Discord server and streamed live on the Blue Academy's admin Twitch channel. Fanbyte wrote an article spotlighting the event on their website!NOVEMBER 1, 2025 — To be held in The Tower at Paradigm's Breach, this event will be hosted on the Blue Academy Discord server's voice channels, and streamed live on PvP Revival's Twitch channel.The event begins at 9:00 PM Eastern on Zalera's Wolves' Den Pier.RSVP to the 2025 event to not miss out on event reminders!
